Hi! I am interested in purchasing the plans he has produced and advertised for sale for the Sabionari guitar (or if anyone has reliable plans of this instrument?) and have had no luck when attempting to use the contact email from his website (https://eshull.github.io)

Does anyone know how to get in contact with him? Thanks, Fred.

Hi Fred I've been on the OLF since very nearly the beginning and I can't recall any mention of the Sabionari instrument. So I just went and searched the entire forum, all rooms and the achieve and the only mention was once a while back by you and one other member here who weighed in to say he didn't have an answer for you either.

Sorry

Thank you for taking the time to answer, Hesh. I was quite surprised to find no mention either, but am keeping hopes up that I will one day be successful and get the required info.

Well Fred,

I just happened to have this on my reading list, from a few days ago; talking about roses. It might help you. It seems like is his blog/website.

Go to about me. Then send me an email.

It might work.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

Thank you for posting the link - I did try many times to contact the gentleman via this link, to no avail.

Not sure about Stradivari guitar models or variations among them but there were not a lot of them.

Not sure if this will help but maybe you can determine that.

Good luck, looks like a fun project.
